To fight spam, more and more internet users use disposable email addresses (DEA).

These emails can either have a limited life time or be inactivated easily by the user. It usually (but not always) points to the user's primary email.

This way, when spam starts incoming in his disposable account, the user can suppress it, open a new one and it will have no impact on his primary email.

Of course, when talking about email Marketing, there is hardly any point in having such emails in your DB.

As explained on my blog, I usually advise my clients to get rid of it as far as possible.
